What can we do to help?

We are all aware of the current devastating crises that is ongoing in Ukraine right now. As we start to get excited and plan for this year’s travel, in Ukraine, nearly 3 million people have fled their homes amid temperatures of minus 20 degrees and a further 6 million are internally displaced. There is little shelter, food, or healthcare. While it is so easy to be consumed by the media and feel hopeless, we must also remember that there are many ways we can help. Even just a small contribution can make a huge difference. That’s why we think it’s important to help direct people to a reputable charity, like the Canadian Red Cross, where we know our donations are being put to good use.

Imagine if every person in Canada donated just $1, that would be enough to raise 37 million dollars!

As a company, we will also be doing our part in donating to the cause.

Why Canadian Red Cross?

The Canadian Red cross is part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, providing international aid to help people in emergencies, support refugees, survivors of trafficking and those facing chronic hunger. Around 4,000 Ukrainian Red cross volunteers from The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) are working hand-in-hand with affected communities to respond to the vast humanitarian needs caused by almost eight years of conflict. To continue with their hard, relentless efforts in providing support, they need as much financial aid as they can get from people like us!
