The Beaver Bar in Banff is a funky little spot to exercise your liver. You’ll find us tucked next to the Samesun lobby, so you don’t even have to brave the Rocky Mountain wind chill to enjoy a cheeky beverage. It may be smaller than its Vancouver cousin, but its cheery atmosphere has satisfied many a ski bum and its intimacy has made it a top venue choice for indie bands from across Canada.
It’s a great place to chill over a few beers, start out your night on the town, or meet other travellers. We host a theme party once a month and put on quite a show for the big ones: Halloween, Australia Day, Canada Day, New Years & St Paddy’s. We also have live band performances twice a month. If you’re here for any of these nights – get involved, they’re epic! Our Thursday open mic night and Sunday roast are also known in town as a lively option if you’re keen for some fun.
We keep the prices low, so you can enjoy yourself on a backpacker budget. Don’tbelieve us? How’s $4 pints, $3 highballs and a $3.50 nightly cocktail? Not cheap enough? Come in for happy hour when our house lager drops to $3.50 a pint and $11.25 a pitcher. We’ve got hot, delicious food to fill your belly too, a full menu including homemade pizzas and a $6 dinner special every night. We even do chicken parmas! We are also the home of the Agwa Bomb! If you don’t know what that is, come and ask, we’re the only bar in town that can hook you up!
