Winter White Party Vancouver

We know you love big dumps, a good backpacker party & a FREE snowboard – and we do too!

Vancouver, it’s time to celebrate.

Now that Vancouver’s local ski hills, Cypress, Grouse & Whistler are opening & getting their beautiful white peaks – let’s party. That’s why so many of these traveling backpackers have huge smiles on their faces as they run around the hostel. This November we have loads of skiers & snowboarders pulling in their snow gear everyday into our downtown hostel so we know you love it too! But before you head off on the hills, join us for an epic backpacker party.

YoWinter White Backpacker Party Vancouveru’ve heard of the rain dance to bring rain – we’ll we are going to introduce the snow dance – and by dance we mean PARTY! Dress in your brightest whites to encourage the beautiful white flakes to start falling and soon make buckets of powder for us to play in. The snow dance usually consists of a few pints, maybe a shot or two & a big plate of nachos between friends – because after all, that’s what you do on a ski hill, right?

Or if all white is not your thing, show off your latest fashion with hot fluro or neon goggles, boots, pants or toques (that’s Canadian for beanie & they kinda get to call it as it’s way colder over here). We wanna see what you are sporting on the hill this year & get recognized for your individual style. Let everyone know that you have the pink & black jacket with yellow goggles – then you’ll be a celebrity when you pop that back flip up the hill.

Not only will we summon the snow Gods with our awesome attire – we are also GIVING AWAY A SNOWBOARD!!Imagine this; backpacking through Canada, realize Vancouver is the best place on earth, wanna get up on the hills with all your new traveling buddies, but only got enough dollars for a few pints, then BAM! your name gets called & you are the happy owner of a new snowboard – thinking to yourself, this hostel is pretty rad! Let’s ride! All you have to do to enter is head into our awesome backpacker bar, The Beaver at 1018 Granville Street & chat to one of our super friendly bar staff. The more times you pop in and “say hi” the more chance you have of winning. Backpackers and locals alike come in for cheap food & drink & now we’ve given you just another reason to call this friendly downtown spot your local.Great drink specials with our nightly $4 menu including Cream Ale pints, Blue melon cocktails & Kamikaze shooters will be building up that dutch courage to try some back flips soon enough.

Happy riding & see you at the partay!
