Here at the Beaver we have chosen to work with local craft beer masters Russel Brewery from Surrey, BC to showcase their best. We have recently extended our draft beer selection to include samples from 3 great Canadian breweries, Russel, Big Rock and Molson. Following summer trends we have brought Rock Creek Cider onto our taps from Alberta’s own Big Rock Brewery. Make sure to try their Grasshopper Wheat Ale as well.
The Beaver Lounge is the only watering hole in Vancouver to stock AGWA Coca Leaf Liqueur. If you have not yet been introduced, you soon will be. This must try elixir combines coca leaves from the Bolivian highlands with the energetic power of guarana for a crazy jet fuel buzz. Since AGWA made it’s Canadian debut in The Beaver Bar, Banff, Alberta, it has swept through the Rocky Mountains down to the west coast to liven up the British Columbia’s backpacker scene. Try AGWA by itself as a chilled shooter, served on RedBull as an AGWABOMB or try one of our unique AGWA cocktails. Vancouver will never be the same again!
The Beaver Restaurant & Lounge is open to the public of Vancouver but we cater to the friendly backpackers in our hostel by keeping all our items cheap & affordable. Here you can drink like a king on a shoestring budget so your few dollars can stretch to enjoy as much traveling as possible.
