What is a hostel?
A hostel is a home away from home. It is a place that you can go to rest your weary head when on the road, or a place you can set up camp at to call home for an extended stay at that beautiful place or ski resort that you happened to stumble upon.

Can anyone stay?
Our hostel is open to absolutely anyone. All we ask is that you respect those around you during your stay.

Are there any memberships fees?
There are no membership fees or hidden fees of any kind for all locations featured on www.CanadianSkiHostels.com.

Do you need to bring your own linens?
We supply linens for all dorm and private room stays. If you do have a favorite pillow or blanket, its always good to bring it!

Are the hostels safe and secure?
At our hostels, we do have locks on main doors and room doors and lockers to secure your possessions and staff are always on hand to ensure EVERYONE enjoys their stay, safely.

Do you get your own bathroom and kitchen?
For all of our locations, the washrooms and kitchens are always shared facilities for use by all guests.

Do you have maximum stay restrictions?
We do not offer monthly rates but do not have any restrictions for how long you can stay. For our on mountain locations, we do offer Mountain Staff long-term stay rates.

Do you offer airport/bus pickup drop off services?
In Vancouver, you can use the Vancouver Airport Shuttle Service. From Calgary Airport to get to and from SaneSun Banff you can use the Banff Airporter and finally in Kelowna, the Kelowna Airporter can be used for transfer to and from SameSun Kelowna to the Kelowna Airport.

Do you offer discounts for guests?
Yes, our guests have access to savings on restaurants, ski supplies and gear, discounted lift tickets, plus much more!

Are you family friendly?
We welcome families at all of our locations and many do in fact have family rooms available.

Are you pet friendly?
Unfortunately, due to the diversity of travellers we have staying with us, we simply cannot allow pets into our facilities due to health regulations. We do love them though! "sniff".

What are your front desk hours?
Our front desk hours for most locations are 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM, 7 days a week.

Are all the hostels Ski in, Ski Out?
Some of our hostels are slopeside and others in the city, where all the action is.
