Our Hostel
The Venice Beach Cotel is located on Windward Ave in the original St. Charles Hotel building, the first hotel in Venice. Windward Avenue was the hub of Venice at its beginnings and still maintains that popularity now, mostly due to new attractions such as the beachfront skate park.
Airport Shuttle
We provide shuttles to and from the Cotel and LAX Airport for a small fee. When you arrive at the airport, simply call this number 1-800-449-8267, free from any pay phone, and the service will come pick you up at your terminal. When you’re ready to leave, we can book your shuttle back — just ask your receptionist.The trip from the airport takes 30 minutes or less by shuttle.
Prices: 1 person: $14, 2 people: $22, each additional person: $8. Surfboard: $5 extra
Hostel Hopper Shuttle
Hostel Hopper provides daily shuttle services between 3 of LA’s best hostels in Venice, Santa Monica & Hollywood. It is much cheaper than a taxi & way faster than the bus. This service is making LA a great & accessible place for backpackers. Hostel Hopper also provides daily pick-ups from San Diego and Union Station.

Parking
We do not have a parking lot, but there are plenty of free street parking spaces just a block away. When you arrive, you can come upstairs and we will give you a map which will show you where you can park for free.
